BRAVE AND READY
Serving Our Community. Protecting Our Neighbors. Answering the Call.
Welcome to the Wayne Township Volunteer Fire Department of Hamilton County, Indiana.
We are proud to be an all-volunteer fire department dedicated to protecting the residents, families, businesses, and visitors of Wayne Township. When the call comes, our volunteers leave their homes, jobs, and families to answer a simple but important question:
Who will be there when our neighbors need help?
Our answer is simple:
We will.
Our members are trained and prepared to respond to fires, medical emergencies, rescue situations, and other calls for assistance. We also believe that serving our community means more than responding to emergencies. Through fire prevention, public education, community events, training, and volunteer service, we work every day to make Wayne Township a safer place to live.
24/7 Volunteer Service
Our members provide around-the-clock coverage for our community through a dedicated team of volunteers.
Fire & EMS
We provide fire suppression and emergency medical services, including BLS and ALS capabilities, while working closely with neighboring departments through mutual aid.
Your Neighbors. Your Fire Department.
Our volunteers live, work, and raise their families in the communities we serve. We aren't just your fire department—we are your neighbors.
When the call comes, we're ready.
